As we look ahead to 2026, we are energized by the opportunity to deepen our impact and expand lifesaving breast cancer initiatives across Ghana. Each year, the growing participation in our programs affirms one truth: when communies unite, lives change.
Your support has been central to this progress. In 2025, our RFCA Ghana 5K Run/Walk welcomed more than 1,978 participants across Accra and Takoradi, creating one of the largest breast cancer awareness events in the country.
In 2026, we are excited to build on this momentum with a full calendar of events:
- RFCA Tennis Tournament at Accra Lawn Tennis Club – March 21st, 2026
- RFCA Pink Polo at Accra Polo Club – October 10th, 2026
- RFCA 5K Run/Walk For A Cure at Lincoln Community School, Abelemkpe – October 24th, 2026
These events play a vital role in helping us achieve our goals for this next year, which include:
- Providing additional mammogram machines and establishing diagnostic breast clinics in underserved communities
- Expanding screening outreach across Ghana, targeting both rural and urban populations
- Offering financial support to breast cancer survivors facing economic hardship
- Hosting empowerment seminars and recovery programs for women navigating or completing treatment
