Run For A Cure Ghana

RFCA Ghana started in 2013 with the vision to turn the 90% breast cancer mortality rate in Ghana into the Survival Rate

RFCA Ghana is a powerful nonprofit organization for the eradication of breast cancer in Africa. We are comprised of individuals directly or indirectly affected by breast cancer who want to lessen the impact of this disease on the less privileged women of our community.
Our Mission is to create a greater awareness of breast cancer throughout Africa through targeted education that erases societal stigmas and by forming strategic alliances. We aim to provide free screenings to the impoverished women of Africa and to alleviate the cost of treatment.

Milagros Chirinos de Mensah

Milagros Mensah is a native Venezuelan, and has been involved with Run For A Cure Africa since its inception, first as a volunteer while living in Nigeria and then as a founding member of RFCA Ghana where she moved in 2011 with her husband and three children.

Ebele Mbanugo, outside of her diligent work towards breast cancer education and awareness for the less privileged, has been in education for over 12 years. As an educator (her first passion) she has worked in both special and general education.
